This Privacy Policy explains how Impluvium Software (“Impluvium Software,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website at impluviumsoftware.com and its subdomains (the “Site”), and when you use our mobile applications published on Google Play (the “Apps”). Together, the Site and the Apps are our “Services.”

1. Who we are

Impluvium Software is an independent software studio providing consulting and building open-source and consumer software. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at impluviumsoftware@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

On our website

  • Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referring pages, and general usage patterns. This information is processed by Google on our behalf; see Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) automatically records standard technical information such as IP address, request time, and the resource requested, for security and reliability.
  • Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

In our apps

  • Account information. If an App offers accounts or sign-in, we collect the information needed to create and secure your account, which may include your email address, a display name, and an authentication identifier.
  • Content you provide. We collect and store the data you enter or create within an App in order to provide its features (for example, saved progress or content you submit).

3. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our Services;
  • To create and secure your account and authenticate you;
  • To save and sync your content and settings;
  • To understand usage and improve our Services;
  • To respond to your questions and support requests;
  • To protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats; and
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. With vendors who process data on our behalf to run our Services — for example, Google (Firebase, Google Analytics, and Google Play). These providers may only use the data to perform services for us.
  • Legal reasons. When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Impluvium Software.

5. Cookies

Our Site uses cookies for analytics, as described above. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using the Site.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the Services and for the legitimate and legal purposes described above. When you delete your account, or when data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at impluviumsoftware@gmail.com.

Deleting your account and data

You can request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it at any time by emailing impluviumsoftware@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, or by using any in-app account-deletion option where available. We will delete your account data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information by law.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at impluviumsoftware@gmail.com and we will delete it.

10. International users

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using our Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may be announced within our Services.
